Last week, I had mentioned how we are often scared of Monday. Today, is probably even a bit scarier for those parents who were out trick or treating with their children.
You were tired this morning, the kids were overtired, maybe you even had one too many drinks on the trek around the neighborhood or even too much candy and today just feels a little “extra.”
I was home before 8pm last night, didn’t enjoy any adult beverages, only had a few treats and even I was feeling it a bit this afternoon after an early morning.
No matter the time of year, or post-holiday struggle, Monday can bring increased stress into our lives and make us dread the week ahead.
Just remember, it’s only one day.
I often tell my clients “one day at a time” whether it’s their nutrition, training or just life.
Try that this week.
Don’t worry about tomorrow or what’s ahead this week, just focus on today.
I’m trying really hard to do the same of late and I hope you can too.
Tomorrow will brings new battles, win today first.
Get Better,
Tyler
